Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Salem is actually the first person in her family to attend college, and she quickly learned during her pre-med years that she had a drive for helping patients and catering treatment to the individual. Everyone deserves to have healthy teeth and the dedicated, compassionate education it takes to reach that point. After being a stay-at-home mom for several years and raising five children, she returned to school to complete her advanced training and additionally discovered that she was exceptionally passionate about specialty dentistry after completing endodontic and implant courses, as well as the latest developments in dental technology. Years later, she’s never looked back!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Marshall completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Oklahoma and pursues continuing education on a regular basis. She has a passion for correcting misaligned teeth with Invisalign® Clear Braces in particular and helping them see just how easy it is to transform their smile for the better! As someone who personally suffers from obstructive sleep apnea, she’s also very interested in helping people overcome disordered breathing during sleep.
What Do You Like Most About Being a Dentist?
More than anything, Dr. Marshall loves working closely with patients. Her primary mission is to establish and develop trusting relationships over time with each person in her treatment chair. She understands very well that every patient (and smile) is unique, and she deeply cares about exceeding your expectations. She can’t wait to help new arrivals look and feel their best!
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she isn’t hard at work, Dr. Marshall loves spending quality time with her friends and family, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.
